StanChem Polymers SC 6261 is a 100% acrylic copolymer emulsion designed for durable house and trim paints. Paints and coatings made with SC 6261, in addition to durability; also exhibit good wet adhesion, good dirt pick-up resistance and good gloss retention.

StanChem Polymers SC 6477 is a highly efficient, alkali-swellable acrylic emulsion that is recommended for thickening synthetic emulsions. SC 6477 can be incorporated directly into a binder system. Thickening begins with the addition of ammonia, sodium hydroxide or an amine to raise the pH to 7.0-8.0 for maximum thickening.

Deltech Monomers

Located in Troy, OH, Deltech Polymers focuses on producing specialized crystal polystyrene (PS) and styrene methyl methacrylate (SMMA) products. These products find wide-ranging applications in extrusion, injection molding, compounding, and blending processes. Extrusion grades are particularly used in the building and construction industry, specifically for insulation products, while molding grades are well-suited for durable houseware and lifestyle goods. Deltech also offers various grades tailored for color concentrates, specialty compounds, and custom-formulated materials.

StanChem Polymers SC 5186 is general-purpose polyvinyl acetate. It deposits a clear, tough film, which exhibits excellent resistance to heat and light. It provides good adhesion to cellulose. Films of SC 5186 exhibit good blocking resistance.

StanChem Polymers SC 6044 is a high solids, medium hand, all acrylic and self-crosslinking emulsion. SC 6044 provides outstanding durability to washing and dry cleaning.

Deltech Vinyl Toluene (VT) is a mixture of methylstyrene isomers, with approximately 55% meta and 45% para isomer distribution. This reactive monomer readily polymerizes to form a high-clarity, colorless polymer with excellent electrical and physical properties. In many applications, VT demonstrates superior properties compared to styrene monomer.

Deltech Aromatics Byproduct (DVB) serves as an octane supplement and belongs to the chemical family of aromatic hydrocarbons. It is a water-white liquid with an aromatic odor and is typically not reactive under normal conditions. This versatile product finds applications in various fields, including coatings, adhesive tackifiers, functional polymers, molded composites, and insulating varnishes.


StanChem Polymers SC 5174 is a vinyl/acrylic copolymer developed specifically as latex for interior and exterior paints and coatings. StanChem 5174 exhibits an excellent combination of flexibility and hardness. Intumescent and fire retardant paints produced with SC 5174 provide superior scrub resistance, durability and flexibility.


DIEB (Di-Ethylbenzene) is a clear amber liquid with excellent stability. This product is widely used in multiple applications, including lubricating oils, heat transfer fluids, and the manufacturing of synthetic rubber and resins. It is intended for commercial and industrial applications requiring consistent and high-performance characteristics. DiEB serves as a raw material for various uses and has an odor characteristic of aromatic hydrocarbons.

Deltech Divinylbenzene 63% (DVB63) is a reactive monomer primarily composed of divinylbenzene and ethylvinylbenzene isomers. It is commonly used in the synthesis of ion-exchange resins and in the production of unsaturated polyester resins and casting resins, where DVB63 serves as a cross-linking agent, providing rigidity. The appearance of this product is that of a yellowish-clear liquid.

Deltech Crystal Polystyrene 920 ZF is a homopolymer of styrene, produced through the polymerization of styrene. It is primarily used in the manufacturing of plastic products. This polymer is in a solid physical state and appears clear in color. It is insoluble in water and demonstrates stability. Importantly, there is no occurrence of hazardous polymerization with this product. Furthermore, It is an inert substance with low volatility and is non-biodegradable. It also possesses a low potential for bioaccumulation, making it a more environmentally friendly choice compared to some other materials.
